Since the MASARYK company needs to display and store quite a lot of goods outdoors, this intention was also decisive when designing the building. Conceptually, the object of the hall is covered by two L-forms. (The principle of interlocking L-shapes is also reflected in the interior layout of the hall.) Exhibition-storage facade shelving system and covered sales and exterior terraces. It is these functional elements, which are added to the volume of the hall, that give the building an expression and technical character that creates spatially rich situations. Technologically the building is maximally ecological. Heating and cooling are provided by a combination of ground/water and air/water heat pumps. The heating and cooling technology is in the center of the store and is presented on both floors behind glass. The customer sees that the company not only sells heating and water technology, but also intelligently uses the latest energy-saving technologies in its own building. co-author: Martin Medlen architectural study – 2021 constuction details: Daniel Růžička, Jakub Števanka, Robert Sekula |
