Store and warehouse – Holíč

The architecture of the building is based on a basic 15 metre module, which defines the steel construction of the hall itself as well as the adjacent exterior terraces and sales yard. Since the M-MAS company needs to display and store quite a lot of goods outdoors, this intention was also decisive when designing the building.

Conceptually, the object of the hall is covered by two L-forms. (The principle of interlocking L-shapes is also reflected in the interior layout of the hall.) Exhibition-storage facade shelving system and covered sales and exterior terraces. It is these functional elements, which are added to the volume of the hall, that give the building an expression and technical character that creates spatially rich situations.
